Year 7 Transition Information

We are eager to welcome you to our Academy which is part of the Dixons Academy Trust; one of the highest performing academy trusts in the country.

Our Transition Evening 2024 is taking place on TBC at Dixons Broadgreen Academy. Refreshments will be available from 4.45pm onwards.

Year 6 Transition Day is scheduled for TBC.

Transition Evening is a chance for us to share with you our academy mission and values and for you and your child/children to meet some of the key staff who will be supporting them in their first year at secondary school. It is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.

Our uniform supplier will also be in attendance for you to be able to order your child’s uniform ready for September.

We will also be running Summer Transition Camp which takes place during the week beginning Monday 19st August to Wednesday 21rd August 2024. This is a free camp and a great opportunity for your child to get used to our school, meet new friends and spend time with some of our outstanding staff, ahead of their formal start to secondary school life. Please complete the Summer Transition Camp form that has been posted to you and return to the academy via post or by dropping it off at reception for the attention of Mr Hughes.
