English Extravaganza!

It was hugely gratifying to welcome so many guests to our English Extravaganza last night in the Main Hall.
Published author reading from his debut novel? Yes, and it just so happens that the author is our teacher, Mr. Golding.
Published local poet from Liverpool reading her work? Also, yes! Madelaine Kinsella provided unique spoken word insights.
The evening also included a mystery book sale, a poetry competition and the conclusion of our school Spelling Bee Competition. Students, parents and carers and members of the local community were all here to celebrate. A tremendous evening and thank you to the English team for organising and delivering such an inspiring event.
