Our Christmas community event 2025

On 22 December, the academy opened its doors to more than 150 members of our community who were invited in for a joyful and festive event. This year's event builds on from the overwhelming success of our first event in 2024, this year’s celebration was even bigger, brighter, and more festive, bringing together families, staff, and children for an unforgettable day of joy, warmth, and togetherness.
A warm welcome and a festive feast
The event began with families being welcomed into a beautifully decorated hall, where a traditional Christmas dinner of roast turkey and all the trimmings was served. The meal offered an opportunity for everyone to sit together, share stories, and enjoy the warmth of the festive season.
Volunteers and staff worked tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare, serve, and support the event, demonstrating once again the strong sense of community spirit that defines our academy.
A winter wonderland experience
This year’s event transformed the academy grounds and canteen into a magical winter wonderland.
Highlights of the festive event included:
Real reindeers
Children and adults alike were delighted to meet real reindeers, creating unforgettable photo moments and adding an extra special touch of festive magic.
Santa’s grotto
One of the most anticipated features was a visit to Santa’s grotto, where every child had the opportunity to meet Father Christmas himself and share their Christmas wish list.
Giant snow globe
Families stepped inside a life‑sized snow globe, with many using it as an opportunity for capturing festive photos and making special memories.
Festive activities
A variety of creative and hands-on Christmas activities kept children entertained throughout the day, including fun crafts and games.
Gifts for every child
Each child left the event with a special Christmas gift, carefully chosen by the children themselves to bring smiles and spread the festive joy!
A celebration of community
The continued success of this community event reflects the strength, kindness and togetherness of our school community. What started in 2024 as a new initiative has quickly become a memorable annual tradition, one that brings families and communities together and ensures that every family experiences the joy and magic of the festive period.
