Adam Samy

Principal

Originally from Leeds, but attending university, training as a teacher and gaining his Masters in Teaching and Learning in Liverpool; Adam is proud to have called the city home for many years. Since his training, he has worked in schools across Liverpool, Wirral and Greater Manchester. Starting his teaching career as a teacher of science, he has progressed to holding several leadership roles, including Head of Year, Head of Sixth Form, Senior Assistant Headteacher, and Deputy Headteacher across numerous schools.

Adam is driven by the desire to ensure that every school is at the heart of a community and the belief that education is the most powerful way to support systemic social change. This is coupled with the desire to ensure that every child, regardless of their background, can thrive and live their best life.

Having joined Dixons Academy Trust in 2021 to support the trust in the North West, Adam is proud to be a part of Dixons Broadgreen. He is looking forward to supporting the whole school community – students, families and staff.
