Expeditions

At Dixons Broadgreen Academy, we are committed to developing the whole child, both inside and outside the classroom. Our expedition programme provides students with enriching opportunities to step beyond their everyday environment and experience learning in a different way. 

Whether through residential stays or day trips, expeditions are designed to foster resilience, teamwork and independence, while also strengthening the core values that underpin our academy: hard work, integrity and fairness. These carefully planned experiences allow students to grow in confidence, build positive relationships with peers and staff and help develop important life skills that support their academic success.

Expeditions are an integral part of our wider curriculum at Dixons Broadgreen Academy, ensuring that every student has access to experiences that broaden horizons and create lasting memories.

We ensure our expeditions are accessible to all families, with clear communication and support so that all students can participate. 

In doing so, our expeditions help prepare our students not only for examinations, but also for the wider world beyond school.
