National School Breakfast Programme at Dixons Broadgreen

At Dixons Broadgreen Academy we're proud to be working in partnership with the National Schools Breakfast Programme (NSBP) to offer all students a free, nutritious start to their day in a warm, welcoming and inclusive space.

Every morning free bagels are served in the school canteen from 8:00am - 8:20am.

We recognise the importance of students starting their day with a nutritious breakfast. Research shows that providing a healthy school breakfast at the start of the school day can contribute to improved readiness to learn, increased concentration, and improved wellbeing and behaviour.
